Peekaboo, I Love You! / I See You! (for 0-18m) One of baby’s favorites, for sure! But did you know games like peekaboo help babies understand language and contribute to their development in important ways? In this special camp, uncover more ways to say “I love you” using American Sign Language, soap bubbles, and parent-baby dances. Plus, parents can meet with other newborns, babies and families in our international studio family while learning about how music is a vital part of your child’s learning and language development.

Zoo Train! (for 18m0-3y or Mixed Age 0-6y): Toddlers and trains make a natural match—always on the move. Tag along this summer with a traveling zoo train. Bring your own stuffed animals for the petting zoo. Wear long white socks on your hands for polar bear paws and learn about real animals in the zoo. Sing songs for clapping time, and use music to help toddlers regulate emotions. Each class your child will love singing, dancing, and playing instruments with you and her new friends and you’ll love helping her practice a wide variety of abilities such as gross and fine motor skills, turn-taking, social skills, and active listening. We’ll also share tips and ideas for using music throughout the week. So, all aboard the Zoo Train!

 On the Road (for 3-5 y) Re-live your childhood, with your child. Every song is likely to revive a memory from your summers’ past. Play “Eye Spy” and find shapes in the clouds to pass the time. Take imaginary trips in a bus named “Van Go” to fun-filled vacation destinations such as the carnival, a summer cottage, and the beach.

Jazz Kitchen (for 5 -7 y) What’s cookin? Step into our Jazz Kitchen and you’ll find out! With a bowl full of movement and generous servings of vocal play and improvisation, you’ll be well on your way to a jazzy good time. In class, we engage your child in music and movement activities that also promote language, social and emotional skills, early math and early literacy, physical coordination, creativity, and more. Plus, your child will learn basic music vocabulary and notation—all setting the stage for future school success and formal music lessons.

 On the Road Outdoor Playdates in Ottensen (for all ages 0-6 y with parent) Re-live your childhood, with your child. Every song is likely to revive a memory from your family’s summer road trips! Play “Eye Spy” and find shapes in the clouds to pass the time. Take imaginary trips in a bus named “Van Go” to fun-filled vacation destinations such as the carnival, a summer cottage, and the beach. Celebrate a musical Vanlife ‘staycation’ with us in our outdoor Ottensen camp classes this summer. Dates: Fridays at 16:00 on 10-, 17-, 24-, 31- July.

Kindermusik Adventures Summer Camp classes take place in Two Sessions of 3 WEEKS each. You will attend class two times per week. Each class is 45 minutes. Choose either session or enroll in both!
