Foundations For Babies 0-18 mo Music is one of your baby’s favorite things – AND it’s one of the best things for your baby’s developing mind. Babies’ brains are filled with billions of neurons just waiting to be connected through sensory stimulation. That’s what we do when we’re in Kindermusik: we offer a sensory rich environment, complete with music, movement and fun, to create and strengthen baby’s neural pathways. Each Kindermusik class touches on every learning domain, creates special bonding moments, and begins to instill a lifelong love of music.

School Year 2020-21

Our Foundations classes take place in Four Terms of 9 WEEKS each. Each class is 45 minutes.

• Term 1 17 Aug – 31 Oct, (with a Fall Break 05-17 Oct)
• Term 2  02 Nov – 23 Jan (with a Holiday break 21 Dec – 07 Jan)
• Term 3 25 Jan – 10 April (with a break 01-13 March)
• Term 4 12 April -19 June (with a break 17-21 May)

Cost: Tuition €39 per Month (€117 per Term) + Home Materials Kit: €27,50 per Term

Level 2 for Toddlers 18mo – 3 y Kindermusik for Toddlers encourages children at this stage to uncover an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control, and communications skills. Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, and object identification foster language skills, while creative movement to various musical “moods” develops a sense of balance, timing, and spatial awareness. Listening and turn-taking encourage blossoming social skills. This special class is a unique opportunity for parent and child to interact and learn together in an unhurried and joyful manner.

School Year 2020-21

Our Level 2 Toddler classes take place in two semesters of 18 weeks each. Each class is 45 minutes.

• Autumn 17 Aug – 23 Jan, (with breaks 05-17 Oct and 21 Dec-09 Jan)
• Spring 25 Jan- 21 June (with breaks 01-13 March and 17-23 May)

Our Level 3 Imagine That! courses embrace the exuberance of the 3 and 4 year old in a musical learning curriculum that integrates music, expressive language, peer interaction and pretend play. Current research confirms that pre-schooled age children thrive on participatory, expressive learning. We integrates carefully planned thematic activities, diversity of music, and involve both children and parents in purposeful learning during Sharing Time and at home. You as a parent or caregiver will be present for the last fifteen minutes of each class. For children with some English experience, either at home, in the Kindergarten or having lived abroad.

For English Learners:

Kindermusik Laugh & Learn is an exciting mix of music and movement activities proven to help young children learn English while at play! This course is ideal for children who are learning English as a second language and who maybe don’t speak English at home or in the Kindergarten.

Using music, which stimulates and enhances language acquisition, and whole-body physical expression, which improves retention, each lesson is effective and enjoyable for all. Themed lessons build on each other so children can move from learning target words to using them successfully. Students will enjoy exploring kid-friendly topics like farm animals, vehicles and daily activities. Family style class with parent and younger siblings present.

School Year 2020-21

Our Level 3 Kita Kids classes take place in two semesters of 18 weeks each. Each class is 45 minutes.

• Autumn 17 Aug – 23 Jan, (with breaks 02-17 Oct and 21 Dec-07 Jan)
• Spring 25 Jan- 21 June (with breaks 02-14 March and 18-23 May)

Cost: Tuition €39 per Month + Home Materials Kit: €60 per Semester (€55 for Laugh & Learn)

Laugh & Learn €39 per Month with one child, sibling reduction per additional child (babies under 6 months attend free of charge)

Kindermusik for the Young Child (for English speakers ages 4,5-7) This course provides a pressure-free, developmentally-appropriate transition to musically succeed before taking on more formal instruction. Kindermusik provides the opportunity to explore voice development, rhythm, notation, musical symbols and authentic pre-keyboard, string and woodwind instruments.

This course is a wonderful and fun yet comprehensive two-year programme consisting of four individual semesters. By the end of the course, children will have learned to read notes and rhythm, to play a pre-keyboard instrument, string and wind instruments, learned about music history, composers, and musical terms such as staccato/legato and piano and forte.

Or for English Learners:

Moove & Groove  (Level 5 for English learners 5-7 y) is an exciting mix of music and movement activities proven to help young children learn English while at play! This course is ideal for children who are learning English as a second language and who maybe don’t speak English at home or in the Kindergarten.

With older children ready to show the little ones how it’s done and the younger ones eager to learn, this class becomes a multi-layered learning environment. Each week, we will introduce basic musical concepts and then give you the instruments, and the structured free time to put those concepts into play.

Your children will listen to instruments and to each other, learn from their peers and older children, and enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves and tumble-around play. Story time and family jams, puppet play and happy singing – all the activities that encourage discovery and exploration and foster sharing and social skills too. In this special place for musical, social and emotional learning, your children will strengthen their ties with each other and with you – and they’ll start developing the skills they’ll need in school and on the neighbourhood playground.

Our Mixed Age classes take place in two semesters of 18 weeks each. Each class is 45 minutes.

• Autumn 17 Aug – 23 Jan, (with breaks 02-17 Oct and 21 Dec-07 Jan)
• Spring 25 Jan- 19 June (with breaks 02-14 March and 18-24 May)

Cost: Tuition €39 per Month with one child, additional sibling at discount per additional child (babies under 6 months attend free of charge) + Home Materials Kit: €55 per Semester
